1. HOW DO I DOWNLOAD CUSTOM CONTENT

Custom content comes in .package and .sims3pack files. Creators puts them into .zip/.rar folder. Just download the item you want in your desktop, then right-click on the .zip/.rar file and choose “Extract here”. 

If it’s a .package put it into My documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages

You must have the resource.cfg file into your “Mods” folder. Download it here.

If it’s a .sims3pack put it into My documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads open your launcher, the item will be into the Download tab. Select it and just click into “Install”.

2. HOW TO CHANGE PREGNANCY CLOTHES

There’s two ways. 

When you know your sims is pregnant, and before the bump is showing, go to the dresser and choose pregnancy friendly clothes. (most of the clothes from the EP Generations are).

You can also download the Master Controller (it’s a non-core mod, compatible with almost every mod). With this you can change her clothes even if the bump is already showing. By clicking on your sims, choose NRaas>Master Controller>Stylist.

With the Master Controller mod, click on the baby, then NRaas>Master Controller>Stylist

5. MY PACKAGE FILE DON’T WORK?

They should work. If not, you’re doing something wrong. Read this wiki carefully and you’ll have your CC working!

6. HOW TO SHARE A .SIM FILE?

When in CAS, click on the three little dots beside your sim portrait then choose save (not share). When it’s done, your sim can be found into:

My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/SavedSims

Just upload this file into Mediafire, Box.net or whatever suits your fancy.

If you want to save some space for you online host you can rar the file. Right click on the right file (sort them by date if you didn’t gave it an obvious name) and choose “Add to [file name] archive”. It’ll create you a .rar folder. 

I use Winrar (and don’t worry about the 40 days license, you can still use it after)
